Did you know?

Our Scottish Highland Title packages are completely genuine and legal. The Laird title documents have been drawn up with the assistance of a Scottish lawyer to ensure that it is a legal and valid document.

The Title “Laird” ( meaning “land owner” ) can be used by male or female - a wise old Scottish custom.

Many females, rather than take the Title 'Laird' have chosen to use the Title 'Lady' instead.

Your Scottish Highland Laird or Lady Title could be useful on your business card or as an unusual email address.

Every Laird or Lady can visit the area where the plots are located. Every plot purchased comes with a map, plan of site, a personal plot number and access instructions.

As an additional benefit, all Scottish Highland Title holders - “Lairds or Ladies of Glencairn”, “Lairds or Ladies of John O’Groats” and “Lairds or Ladies of Glencrannog” - have privileged personal access to a remote Scottish Highland Loch side Estate, in Argyll, called “The Lairds Retreat”.

Every plot of land purchased is helping to preserve areas of land in the Scottish highlands for you, your successors and the local wildlife to enjoy.

Our Scottish Highland Titles are a unique and fun gift idea, for family, friends and colleagues, indeed anyone with an interest in Scotland and Scottish history.

Your Laird title deed documents can be customised to include birthday, wedding, or special anniversary dates.

Your Scottish Highland Title Deed is a document to be framed and displayed for all to admire. The sound of your Title 'Laird' or 'Lady' will cause tremendous interest and not a little envious curiosity.

Many people who have purchased Scottish Highland Titles have gone on to form their own “Lairds clubs”, some holding annual “Lairds and Partners” nights.

All Scottish Highland Titles ordered are a priority for us, but please allow 7-10 days for UK deliveries, and 10-14 days for delivery overseas of your Scottish Laird or Lady Title Deed package.

We have happy Lairds and Ladies all over the world!

Conservation

Scotland is universally recognised as one of Europe’s last remaining wilderness areas.

Since being established in 1983, South Angus Survival has acquired tracts of land in the Scottish Highlands.

It is the intention of South Angus Survival to acquire more land in these areas which are in danger of being changed into blocks of identical pine-forest.

Don’t you find it perplexing that people nowadays plant pine-forests which are completely different to natural forests? Pine trees look pretty, they are pretty but they are not native to Scotland (apart from Scots pine). The Scandinavian pine plantations do not contain the various species of tree that exist in a natural forest. Apart from the monotonous effect of this action and the total disregard for Scotland's natural beauty, the resulting effects on wildlife could be catastrophic.

Already these plantations have disturbed the ecology with unfortunate effects on the local flora and fauna. There is no natural undergrowth to support wildlife, and the trees are planted in rows as tightly as is economically possible. Pathways, though few and far between in these "tree factories", are limited to only a few metres and are often blocked off by machinery, or log barricades.

As a necessary part of our ongoing conservation & regeneration programme, South Angus Survival are currently replanting these areas with many native species of deciduous trees; including, Rowan, Alder, Willow, Hornbeam etc, to help create a natural mixed woodland where local flora and fauna can survive and live in safety.

As one of our Lairds or Ladies you will help these natural areas to survive. It’s a small beginning - but it’s a beginning!

This could be the last chance to preserve one of the most strikingly beautiful landscapes in Great Britain (perhaps even in the world) for future generations.
